Kartstore International supplies a wide range of tyre equipment for karting. Tyre equipment is the gear you use to fit, check and look after your kart tyres. That covers pressure gauges and pyrometers for setting and reading the tyres, bead breakers and changing tools for getting them on and off the rim, and stands to keep wheels off the floor. Why tyre equipment matters

Your tyres are the only thing connecting the kart to the track, so how you set them up makes a real difference to lap time. Run the wrong pressure and the kart won't turn the way you want, or the tyres go off before the end of the race. The right tools let you set pressures accurately, read tyre temperatures to see what the chassis is doing, and change tyres yourself instead of paying someone at the circuit. For a team running several sets across a weekend, having your own kit pays for itself quickly.


What we stock

Pressure gauges

We carry the Prisma HPM5 pressure gauge, including a version with a built-in stopwatch, plus a Righetti manometer. These let you set and check tyre pressures down to fine increments, which is where a lot of the setup work happens.


Pyrometers and combined gauges

The Prisma range includes gauges with an infrared pyrometer built in, with options that add a stopwatch or dual measuring technology. A pyrometer reads the temperature across the tyre so you can see whether the camber and pressures are right.


Bead breakers and tyre changing tools

For mounting and removing tyres we stock the HQ bead breaker and the Righetti manual tyre disassembly machine, along with spare parts. These make changing a set quick and save the rim from damage.


Balancing and stands

The Righetti tyre balance device helps you balance a mounted wheel, and the chromed steel wheel stand keeps your sets tidy and off the ground between sessions.


UNIPRO UniTire

The UniTire V2, available in black and red, is UNIPRO's tyre tool for measuring and managing your tyres at the track.


Equipment for every class

The gear here works across the main kart categories, Mini, OK and KZ, since they all run the same kind of wheels and tyres. A gauge or bead breaker doesn't care which class you race, so one good set of tools covers the whole garage whether you're running a Mini kart or a gearbox KZ.


How to pick the right tyre equipment

If you're just starting out, a decent pressure gauge is the first thing to buy, because getting pressures right is the single biggest setup gain for a new driver. Once you're chasing tenths, add a pyrometer so you can read what the tyres are actually doing. If you change your own tyres, a bead breaker and a manual changing machine save you time and money at every event. And if you keep several sets, a stand keeps them organised and stops them sitting in a heap in the van.
